On the afternoon of May 16, the seminar on the development and reform plan of the provincial stone industry technology research institute was held in Macheng public inspection center, attended by Wang Xianbao, President of the Academy of science and development of Hubei University, Yu Jing, vice mayor of Macheng, heads of the Organization Department of the municipal Party committee, the Municipal Bureau of science, technology, economy and information technology, the municipal public inspection center, the municipal urban development group and other relevant units.

At the meeting, Huang Xiulin, President of Macheng Industrial Technology Research Institute of Hubei University, made a detailed interpretation of the content of the development and reform plan for the establishment of a provincial stone industry technology research institute from the aspects of the management and operation mechanism of the Institute, the division of personnel responsibilities and the direction of development objectives. Participants spoke enthusiastically around the plan and put forward opinions and suggestions one after another. Vice Mayor Yu Jing proposed that the construction of the research institute should learn more from the successful experience of other regions, clarify the role of various subjects in the construction and operation of the Research Institute, firmly grasp the overall requirements, objectives and tasks, ensure that the project work is accelerated in the right direction, and make a real, deep and long-term plan to ensure the high-quality development of the stone industry and help Macheng advance into the top 100.
