On October 23rd, the press conference of the 23rd China (Nan’an) Shuitou International Stone Expo was held at the China Arts and Crafts Museum. The theme of this event is “Stone Future, New Water Head”. Wang Lianzan, Mayor of the People’s Government of Nan’an City, Fujian Province, Sudan, Chairman of the Interior Design Branch of the Chinese Architecture Society, Deputy Director of the China Arts and Crafts Museum (China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum), Liu Liang, President of the Stone Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Sun Weixing, Secretary General of the China Stone Association, and Chen Liang, Secretary General of the Interior Design Branch of the Chinese Architecture Society, Yi Huiquan, Deputy Mayor of the People’s Government of Nan’an City, Lin Huaquan, Deputy Mayor of the People’s Government of Nan’an City, Chen Changtai, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shuitou Town in Nan’an City, and leaders of relevant departments directly under the city, as well as representatives of enterprises, media, and designers from various regions, gathered in Beijing to jointly open the grand event.

Redefinition of Shi Future Shuitou and Shi Bo

    At the beginning of the meeting, Sudan, the Chairman of the Interior Design Branch of the Chinese Architecture Society, Liu Liang, the Chairman of the Stone Industry Chamber of Commerce of the All China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Sun Weixing, the Secretary General of the China Stone Association, respectively delivered speeches on stage. In the current era of reshaping the landscape of the stone industry, China’s stone industry is pregnant with significant opportunities for leapfrog development. With the joint efforts of all colleagues and partners, the stone industry is bound to shine with new vitality.

New Trends, World Stone Capital Leading Again

     Pan Pengzhang, Director General of the Shuitou Stone Expo, explained the overall plan for the 23rd Shuitou Stone Design Week. He mentioned that this exhibition adheres to the principle of holding exhibitions from the source, focusing on “stone future, new water head”, combining direct mining from the source, intelligent delivery, creative design, and cross-border integration, to help enterprises expand new stone tracks, shape new stone concepts, and build new stone spaces. From November 8th to 11th, more than 20 design deans, over 1000 design elites, over 5000 professional procurement teams from 40 major stone gathering areas in China, and 80 stone merchants’ associations from other regions will gather at Shuitou. With the industry positioning of a global stone industry chain interaction platform, we will link more domestic and foreign resources, create a perfect combination of stone machines and business opportunities, create a platform for stone people to exchange and share, and lead the development of the stone industry trend.

      Wang Lianzan, Mayor of the People’s Government of Nan’an City, summarized that the stone industry in Nan’an City has gone through decades of ups and downs and has become the industry name card of Nan’an and Fujian. Its output value exceeds 100 billion yuan, and its trade covers more than 130 countries (regions). The import and export of stone accounts for 70% of the country’s total. Buying stones to Shuitou has become an advertising slogan for stone enthusiasts. The 23rd Shuitou Stone Expo showcased the unlimited potential of “Stone Future, New Shuitou” with an unstoppable momentum.

       Nan’an will attract “world attention” on the “Chinese stage” and reshape the industry benchmark; Nan’an will move from a “stone factory” to a “design city”, creating high-level value; Nan’an will use the “power of intelligent manufacturing” to light up the “Stone City Lighthouse” and lead the revitalization of the industry; Nan’an will move from “extensive invitation” to “precise matching”, promoting two-way travel. I believe that from November 8th to 11th, Nan’an Shuitou will present a more exciting exhibition to everyone.
