Method for  shaping stone circular arc slabs

The shaping of circular arc plates requires shaping the circular arc surface to overcome these defects, as the two processing methods of bucket saw and rope saw require deformation of the circular arc surface shape during processing. This means that the processed product is not a standard circular arc surface.

Processing method

The forming of circular arc sheet metal requires shaping of the circular arc surface to overcome these defects, as both barrel saw and rope saw processing methods can cause deformation of the curved surface shape during processing, i.e. the processed product is not a standard curved surface.

To produce interchangeable circular arc plates, it is necessary to have a circular arc plate forming process. Adopting a shaping disc with a diamond blade end face, adjusting the radius of the turntable to remove the surface of the arc and shape it. Sesame and white stones processed in this way for tens of thousands of cubic meters of stone. Plate forming technology can be divided into pendulum forming, horizontal rotation forming, and vertical rotation forming.

Pendulum type machining

The hand grinder for swinging circular arc plates can only process rough circular arc plates without cutting edges because the two ends of the swinging processed circular arc plates cannot be processed. The fixed grinding head height can shape the circular arc plates, but the shaping accuracy is not high, and the processed circular arc plates are difficult to exchange.

 Rotary processing

Vertical circular arc plate grinder, after cutting the edges of the circular arc plate, the entire circle is clamped on the rotary worktable, completing the processes of shaping, rough grinding, fine grinding and polishing in one go, with high processing accuracy and good interchangeability.

 Handmade marking

Most small arc plate processing plants use this method for forming and processing, using standard template marking as the shape processing benchmark. Using a ruler as a straight machining benchmark can also produce more standardized circular arc plates. The processing quality of this method depends entirely on the technical level of the operators, so the processing quality is unstable.
